  • Account Manager
  • As Account Manager, you will be working with our clients to help anticipate and meet their product needs while being the face of BC Wood Products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Communicate with clients regularly to ensure a pleasant and timely ordering and purchasing process
    • Prepare and present informative, effective proposals to clients
    • Manage client expectations by keeping them up to date on processes and orders
    • Provide exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to impress at every opportunity

    Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to work on several different clients’ accounts at once
    • Ability to work with various types of people and personalities

  • Assistant Production Manager
  • As Assistant Production Manager, you will be assisting and directly report to the Production Manager in all aspects of the production process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor the production process and implement quality-control programs, ensuring that all products meet client and standard qualifications prior to shipping.
    • Monitor the implementation of OSHA safety regulations and standards, ensuring a safe, neat, and clean workspace.
    • Assist the production manager in enforcing the company’s policies and goals.
    • Manage production staff (including employment, training, and mentoring) and conduct performance reviews as directed by Production Manager.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills; able to effectively communicate across levels and departments
    • 5-10 years of prior experience in wood product manufacturing
    • Responsible and able to self-manage and self-motivate
    • Ability to manage fairly and build strong rapport with coworkers
    • Analytics and problem-solving skills, including the ability to adapt to shifting situations and timelines under stress

  • Class A Truck Driver
  • As a Class A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting our quality wood products to clients across the country.

    Responsibilities:

    • Transport quality wood products to clients across the country.
    • Safely and efficiently meet delivery schedules by planning productive routes.
    • Comply with company policies and Class A truck driving regulations by adhering to size, weight, and route designations and reporting defects, accidents, or violations.
    • Properly document miles and work/rest time and retail all fuel and toll receipts.

    Skills:

    • Clean driving record and Class A CDL license
    • 5-10 years of proven experience as a truck driver
    • Responsible and able to self-manage and self-motivate
    • Extensive knowledge of truck driving policies and regulations
    • Analytics and problem-solving skills, including the ability to adapt to shifting situations and timeliness under stress

  • Maintenance Technician
  • As Maintenance Technician, you will be ensuring that all production equipment is in working order and meets all safety and production guidelines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform maintenance and repair of all machinery and production equipment as needed and according to safety standards
    • Monitor the implementation of OSHA safety regulations and standards, ensuring a safe, neat, and clean workspace
    • Perform general upkeep procedures and miscellaneous tasks on site as needed
    • Regularly inspect all electrical systems, alarm systems, heating and plumbing, and machinery systems to ensure a safe and productive environment

    Skills:

    • Working knowledge of wood production and machinery systems, tools, common appliances, and devices
    • 5-10 years of prior experience as a maintenance technician
    • Responsible and able to self-manage and self-motivate
    • Good physical and strength and ability to lift at least 50 lbs
    • Certificate in HVAC, maintenance and reliability, or building maintenance technology a plus
